I was blown away by the hotel he chose; @RomeCavalieri - It’s one of the most lavish resorts I’ve ever stayed and it was so unusual to experience something so luxurious on a city break! They carry the Waldorf Astoria name and it completely lives up to any expectations you might have!

Taking a couple of days off vlogmas while I hibernate indoors with my laptop & a bottle of Fanta I nabbed on the flight back from Kenya! The plan is to actually get some work done today! 🤞🏼 .
Fanta abroad is a completely different drink - it’s insanely good! Anybody else noticed this!? .

Shoutout to Paulo at @TheLangleyUK who saw my friend and I walking around taking photos of one another, after a few drinks (lol) and offered his services. Not only did he take great photos, we had a full on shoot with him directing us, the photos came out so well AND he gave us an in depth tour of the hotel’s incredible spa! 😍 It‘s one of the best spas I’ve ever seen - and we only went in for afternoon tea! 😂

My biggest tip for booking a trip to Kenya, or any

My biggest tip for booking a trip to Kenya, or anywhere in East Africa (from what I hear) is never book Safari tours with a travel agent in the UK 🙅🏻‍♀️
.
We have friends and family in Kenya, so I was able to get a handful of quotes from local travel agents and compare them to those I’d contacted at home. And would you believe, the local travel agents charge just under a third of the price than those based in London?!! 😱
.
I mean, going on safari certainly isn’t cheap - but you’re saving hundreds, if not thousands of pounds by just shopping around!!!
.
In the end, we booked a private tour with @Mario.Tours and I cannot recommend them enough! We had an entire Landcruiser to ourselves and our driver Ronnie was extremely knowledgable about the Mara & great company for 3 days. Defo contact them if you’re planning a trip to Kenya! [Not an AD, obvs]
