While North America, Australia, and the United Kingdom are the global leaders when it comes to remote work, employees in Asia find themselves at the opposite end of the spectrum, with the lowest number of remote workers.
The tech sector unsurprisingly leads the way, with 67% of its employees working primarily from home. Moreover, the desire to continue working from another location remains a long-term endeavor for a whopping 98% of professionals, who report higher job satisfaction, less stress, and overall improved well-being as a result of the shift. However, working from home presents unique challenges that must be addressed to ensure workplaces continue to operate smoothly. As the amount of data and private information shared online continues to increase, the importance of maintaining robust, consistent cybersecurity practices becomes all the more pressing.
Strong defence
It all starts with a good password. Protecting your accounts with reliable codes is the first step to ensuring the data you work with remains safe and sound. Make sure that the passwords you choose are both complex and entirely random at the same time, and that they’re entirely unique for every single account; otherwise, they won’t succeed in doing their work well. Remember that the moment the password is cracked, all accounts you used it for will be targeted as well. However, having so many different and unique codes to work with means you need to have a password manager to rely on as well.

Use antivirus
