URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER HAS A NEW LOOK

I think I can speak on behalf of all makeup maniacs out there when I say that the Urban Decay All Nighter is the first (only?) setting spray that comes to mind when looking for something to set your makeup. I mean, is there even anything else that compares? I genuinely don’t know.

I’ve used and had this in my makeup kit for years, though I’ve never been a fan of the white packaging – the bottle gets dirty so easily, especially considering it’s the last step in every makeup routine, by which time, if you’re like me, you’ll have used your hand and fingers as a palette. The new black packaging and purple text looks so sleek and much more aesthetically pleasing, but better still, the soft touch bottle is much easier to wipe clean.

All Nighter has a well deserved cult status amongst beauty junkies like myself for a reason.. it literally does what it says on the bottle! The staying power is incredible – it prevents makeup from sliding off, is weightless, doesn’t change the finish of makeup regardless of whether its matte or dewy and it leaves a flawless finish that lasts for up to 16 hours. Amazing!

Admittedly, it’s very rare for me to wear a full face of makeup for longer than around 12 hours, so I haven’t put this claim to the test. However, I used to use this on all of my bridal clients, and if you’ve ever been to an Asian wedding, you’ll know that a 16 hour wedding certainly isn’t an exaggeration – FYI, mine was a 21 hour long day!  Believe me when I say this is a staple in every professional bridal make-up artist’s arsenal.

Thankfully the formula hasn’t been altered with the new makeover and 16 hour longevity is more than sufficient for me to be assured that my makeup will not budge throughout the day.

If you feel like getting acquainted with the makeup world’s seriously impressive magic mist, there are two sizes available; 30ml travel size for £10 and 118ml full size for £23.50.

You can purchase them on the Urban Decay website, Feel Unique, Selfridges, Debenhams, House Of Fraser and John Lewis.
