I recently discovered @hertshomestore on Facebook.. She sells West Elm (and other high end brands) homeware for almost half the price. Perfect for those of us who like luxury items on a not-so-luxury budget 🤭

I was in the area so went to buy two lamps and while I was there, immediately snapped up these throws too. Don’t they just work so well with my new @laredouteinterieurs luxe bedsheets? (Swipe to see the lamps). Now all I need is my bed frame and mattress to arrive before Christmas 😂

AD Gifted • I’m hard to please when it comes to jewellery (and most other things in life tbh) so when I find something I love, I wear it ALL the time.. Like this necklace from @daisy_jewellery. It’s the gold sunburst shield necklace from the @EsteeLalonde collection. I love that it’s different to the usual geometric shapes you see on the high street. The detailing on the shield is gorgeous and glistens beautifully when it catches in the sunlight. I’m all about statement pieces that aren’t too ‘in your face’ and this is just that.

I also have it on good authority that Daisy London will have 20% off their entire site on Black Friday. Defo one to check out if you’re after jewellery 😉

Does anyone else find the transition into fitted clothes difficult after months of living in wide leg jumpsuits, floaty dresses and skirts? I already miss dressing for warm weather! 🌤 I posted a photo diary of what I wore this summer, featuring (most of) my @asos jumpsuit collection - I’m obsessed!

Spent all afternoon trying to recreate a vegan version of one of my @dishoom favourites, their jackfruit biryani. I switched up the dairy ingredients with the @flora plant butter, @elmlea_ukie double cream and @alpro soya Greek yogurt 😋

It was DELICIOUS, but took absolutely forever to cook and I’m not exaggerating when I say I used almost every pan in my kitchen. As much as I loved it, it’s not worth all the time & effort it takes to make. I’d much rather go to Dishoom and have somebody else cook it for me 👩🏽‍🍳😍

In fact, for all the effort & ton of ingredients that go into this dish, I’m surprised they don’t charge a LOT more for it! 🤑

FYI If you do decide to cook it, don’t follow the @guardian recipe. There’s a huge typo, telling you to add 250ml oil to the yogurt mixture which made no sense to me. Luckily, I checked their cookbook that somebody kindly sent me a pdf of and there’s no oil required! 🤭 Can you imagine ruining dinner at the last minute after spending hours putting it all together!? 😱

I’d booked it as part of @jassv__ birthday present back in May, and if you’re looking for an unusual gift, or something different to do, indoors and socially distanced, I highly recommend it!
I had visions of being a pro as I was really good the last time we did it, in the middle of a field, but it’s a lot harder than it looks indoors. Still so much fun & I beat Jass, so that’s all that counts tbh 😂
